Ratodero police recover kidnapped man

LARKANA, Oct 22: A heavy contingent of police that chased the kidnappers of three villagers from Ratodero on late Sunday night succeeded in tracing and recovering the third kidnapped victim Sardar Lashari from village Purano Tharo.

The SSP Larkana Ghulam Nabi Memon and the newly-posted DSP Ratodero Ali Nawaz Lashari, led the force that cordoned-off the village. Sensing police movements the kidnappers locked-up the handcuffed kidnapped victim in a room and fled.

Police searched and found him in a room and arrested around 10 suspects including Bashir Ahmed Lashari and herded away buffaloes, the sources said.

SUSPENDED: The SSP Larkana on Monday suspended SHO Dhamraho police station inspector Liaquat Ali Bughti and Habibur Rehman Abro was made the new SHO of the police station. The suspension came on administrative grounds, police sources said.

POS HELD: Larkana police claimed to have netted in 230 proclaimed offenders and absconders in a week during the campaign launched in the district and recovered arms and ammunition. According to the press release of SSP Larkana, Ghulam Nabi Memon issued on Monday , the campaign would continue and so far from the possession of outlaws one Klashnikove, two rifles, five guns, nine pistols and one revolver had been recovered along with live bullets and cartridges.

The Station House Officers (SHOs) throughout the district were strictly asked to crack down on the criminals and harbourers of the dacoits.

CERTIFICATES: On successful conclusion of a two month course of Spoken English for teachers of Government Secondary Schools of Larkana district, a certificate award ceremony was held by Knowledge Center Larkana which was presided over by Dr.Mehboob Ali Shaikh, chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Larkana.

Mukhtiar Samo, the honorary director of the center informed about the details of the especially designed refreshing course of spoken English for the secondary teachers. The chairman BISE appreciated this trend of training the teachers in English language, which he said is essential for the intellectual, and language skill development of the teachers. The certificates were distributed amongst the successful participants of the course.

CASE REGISTERED: The Shahdadkot police on Sunday registered a kidnapping case four months after the kidnapping had taken place.

The case was registered against three people for kidnapping Shamshad, daughter of Qurban Chandio, from the town.

Qurban Chandio accused Muhammad Ismael, Muhammad Uris and Shah Muhammad of kidnapping his daughter from his house.
