SHANGHAI, Oct 21: South Korean Charlie Wi held off a spirited challenge from Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand to claim the 400,000 dollar China Open by one shot after an epic final day duel here Sunday.

He finished with a bogey-free 68 for a four-day total of 16-under-par 272.
It was Wi’s third victory of the season and further cements his position as leader of the Tour Order of Merit with two tournaments remaining.
