Unimpressive goalkeeping

By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, Oct 19: The goalkeeping at the national hockey training camp for the next month’s Champions Trophy remained unimpressive during the sessions Friday.

Meanwhile, recalled left-winger Naveed Iqbal injured his ankle during the practice session. However, he is expected to rejoin the training after a couple of days.

In a practice match, Whites defeated the 4-1. Rehan Butt, a reserve player, scored twice, while Sumair and Mudassir added one goal apiece. For Greens, Kashif Jawwad netted the solitary goal.
