Demo held against US

KARAK, Oct 19: A big procession was taken out by the Jamiat Ulema Islam here on Friday to protest against the US attacks on Afghanistan.

The procession, led by Maulana Sakhi Badshah, started from Masjid Piruddinn Shah and culminated at Amir Shah market. The participants were chanting slogans against the government policies, US President and in support of Osama bin Laden.

At Amir Shah Market, the procession turned into a public meeting which was addressed by Maulana Abdur Rauf and others.
