LAHORE, Oct 18: Four goals from Shahzad Ali powered Government Model High School to a convincing 8-0 victory over F.G. High School No.2, Lahore Cantt, in the Jafar memorial inter-school hockey tournament Thursday.

Shahzad slammed the board in the 41st, 52nd, 55th and 58th minutes. Irfan (20th, 45th minutes) and Zubair Riaz (16th, 42nd minutes) were the other scorers.

Garrison Academy Reds outplayed F.G High School No.5, Lahore Cantt 3-0. Syed Zaigham (1st minute), Umer Rasool (13th minute) and Muslahuddin (45th minute) netted the goals.

Garrison Academy Whites earned a 3-2 win over Federal Government Abid Majeed High School, Lahore Cantt after a penalty shootout.

Both the teams were tied at 1-1 during the regulation time. The winners converted two strokes, while the losers found the net just once.
