This was stated by district Nazim Chaudhry Muhammad Ashfaq while addressing a function in the Government Girls High School, Kaloya, on Thursday.

The Nazim said under the proposed plan Rs5 and Rs25 would be collected per month as special fees from the students of schools and colleges, respectively, and the amount would be spent on recruitment and salaries of teachers.

EDO education Mrs Bilqees Akram was also present on the occasion.

NAZIM: Around 85 per cent people endorse the policies adopted by president Gen Pervez Musharraf in the best interest of the country.

This was claimed by district Nazim Chaudhry Muhammad Ashfaq while addressing Nazims, Naib Nazims and councillors in Kamalia on Thursday.

He said there was no ban on staging peaceful rallies in the district but no one would be allowed to violate law.

He pledged to fill the vacant seats of teachers by the first week of November.

If the union councils of Kamalia sent unanimous development schemes proposals, he said, the government would allocate at least Rs20 million for the town. Supply of gas would also be ensured to the people, he added.

The district government had recently got approval of appointment of 120 lady health workers from the provincial government, he concluded.
