LARKANA, Oct 18: The academic council of Chandka Medical College (CMC), Larkana, has objected to the remarks the chairman of the Sindh Public Service Commission made about the standard of education at the college and competence of CMC students.

The council also took a serious note of the remarks passed on the graduates of the CMC by the SPSC chairman.

At its meeting, presided over by its chairman and college principal Prof Sher Muhammad Shaikh here on Thursday, the council disputed the remarks of the SPSC chairman, who had commented that the graduates of the CMC were not comparatively more competent and talented than the students of other medical colleges of the province.

It termed the charge of incompetence levelled against the CMC graduates and the teaching staff stereotyped, saying that college students were not lacking in educational intellect and that they were more competent and talented than the students of other medical colleges.
