13 officials promoted to BS-22

ISLAMABAD, Oct 18: The government on Thursday notified the promotion of 13 civil servants to the highest ladder in the civil service, BS-22.

Those promoted are: Anwar Mehmood, information secretary; Yousaf Kamal, religious affairs, Zakat and Ushr secretary; Javid Zafar, local government and rural development secretary; Khalid Mehmood, Civil Services Academy, Lahore, director general; Saiyid Mohammad Sibtain, secretary, federal tax ombudsman secretariat; Riaz Ahmad Malik, Central Board of Revenue chairman; Dr Fiazuualh Khilji, NTC chairman; Khalid Rashid, Monopoly Control Authority chairman; M. Tariq Janjua, Population Welfare Division secretary; Mohammad Naeem Khan, NWFP government chief secretary; Shahzad Hasan Pervez, Science and Technological Research Division secretary; Mohammad Ayub, Balochistan chief secretary; and Tariq Farooq, education secretary.
