KARACHI: Development work reviewed

KARACHI, Oct 18: District coordination officer (DCO) Karachi, Shafique-u-Rahman Paracha, on Thursday visited different localities of Gulshan Town to inspect various development projects being executed under the Khushhal Pakistan Programme.

He inspected the on-going construction of internal roads and streets near the old vegetable market on University Road and directed the authorities to gear up the carpet work so that the schemes could be completed on time.

During his visit to various government schools and health units, he was apprised of shortage of teachers and doctors.

Paracha took note of the unhygienic conditions in and around the Government Girls Primary School, Block-6, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, and directed the assistant district officer education to take steps for proper sanitation at the school.—PPI
