KARACHI, Oct 17: Former Test batsman Atif Rauf led a spirited fight back after ADBP failed to avoid follow-on against Pakistan Customs on the third day of the Patron’s Trophy Grade-I tie at Sheikhupura Stadium Wednesday.

According to details available here, Atif, the 37-year-old right-hander, stroked 94 off 121 deliveries as ADBP reached 252 for four in their second innings.

Atif, who batted for 191 minutes, dominated the fourth wicket partnership of 113 with fellow veteran Ghaffar Kazmi (43 not out).

However, Customs are still in firm control as ADBP hold a slender lead of 39 runs with six wickets standing.

Earlier, skipper Zahoor Elahi completed a half-century (55 off 62 balls) as ADBP added 40 runs to their overnight first innings score of 147 for five.
