Death warrants for three

By Our Correspondent

GUJRANWALA, Oct 17: An anti-terrorism court on Wednesday issued death warrants for three condemned prisoners.

They will be hanged in the Central Jail here on Nov 6 as their all appeals have been rejected by the Lahore High Court, the Supreme Court and the president.

According to the prosecution, Hadiat Masih and Ishaq Masih had killed one Ashraf and his wife, Nasreen, during an abortive dacoity bid in Bhoman Bath village on Nov 24, 1993.

The third condemned prisoner, Muhammad Tufail, had killed a revenue patwari, Abdul Rehman, and his father, Abdul Razzaq, over a property dispute in Tetley village on April 24, 1997.
