Man kills wife

MIRPURKHAS, Oct 17: A woman was strangulated by her husband, Shahmeer Dahri, and his family at the Shahpur Chakar town on Tuesday night.

Shahmeer Dahri with the help of Khan M Dahri, Bilawal Dahri, and Saran Dahri strangulated his wife, Gul Bano.

A case has been lodged with the Shahpur Chakar police on the complaint of Gul Bano’s brother, Ahmed Dahri.

THREE INJURED: Three people were seriously injured when a truck overturned near Kot Ghulam Muhammad on Wednesday.

The three who were injured were taken to the Taluka hospital Kot Ghulam Muhammad. From there two were sent to the Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas and one to the LMU Hospital Hyderabad.

FIVE HELD: The Jhuddo police carried out a raid and arrested five absconders — Hayat, Afzal, Wali, A Dino, and Muhammad Ismail.

SEMINAR: A seminar on information technology was held here the other day by Mirpurkhas bankers club.

President of the club Mohammad Zaman Khan highlighted the increasing influence of information technology on the banking sector.

Principal of National Bank computer training institute, Mashooq Ali Khwaja apprised the participants about computer technology.
