KARACHI: Dentists’ killings slammed

KARACHI, Oct 17: An emergency meeting of the central council of the Pakistan Dental Association has condemned the murder of Dr Ghulam Rasool, president of the PDA (Gujranwala) and the Pakistan Medical Association.

The meeting praised his services to the PDA and noted his contribution to the dental health education programmes in Gujranwala.

The council requested the Punjab governor and IGP to order an immediate investigation into his murder and bring the culprits to justice.

The meeting also condemned the murder of Dr Mohammad Iqbal, a Karachi-based dentist, and asked the administration to bring the culprits to book, said the PDA press release.
