KARACHI, Oct 17: The distribution of Karachi telephone directories 2001 has started from Aug 20 and approximately 100,000 directories have been provided to the concerned DEs for further distribution to customers, says a PTCL press release.

It says 70,000 directories have already been distributed among diplomats, press, hotels and corporate clients.

The names and telephone numbers of the newly-elected Nazim and Naib Nazim of the Karachi city government have been handed over to the publisher and it is confirmed that all additional names and numbers will be available in the 580,000 directories still under print.

The further delay in distribution due to inclusion of additional names and numbers is regretted, the press release says.
