KARAK, Oct 15: The district Nazim, Mohammad Sharif Khattak, has said that complete law and order harmony prevails in the district. A close liaison between local administration and Ulema has been maintained in this regard.

Presiding over a meeting about law and order situation in the district, the DCO and in charge of district support team, EDO (Education) Bashir Ahmed Khan and representatives of other departments also attended.

The meeting made a number of decisions in this connection.

Speaking at the meeting, the district Nazim stressed the Ulema, heads of various religious parties and participants of processions to remain peaceful during the processions and refrain from damaging properties.

He warned that no one would be allowed to take law in his hands and disturb peaceful situation. The meeting decided that peace committee under the supervision of district Nazim would be formed for ensuring peace in the district.

The SP Karak informed the participants about the shortage of police force and other allied matters.
