One dies in tribal clash

SHIKARPUR, Oct 13: One person was killed and four others injured in a tribal clash in village Mohammad Saleh Issani on Saturday.

Rasool Bukhsh, son of Noor Mohammad Issani, was killed while four others identified as Imam Bukhsh Issani, his brother Nawab Issani, Mehboob Issani and Mohammad Ali Issani received serious bullet injuries in the clash between Issani and Marfani tribesmen in the village.

The cause of the clash in which both parties used automatic weapons is stated to be old enmity.

The Humayoon police have registered a case but no one was arrested till the filing of this report.

SSP Shikarpur said the injured persons were alleged criminals involved in many crimes.

THEFT: Unidentified armed thieves stole cash, jewellry, gold and silver worth hundreds of thousands of rupees from a jewellry shop in Sarafa Bazar here on Friday night.

Two unidentified armed thieves entered the shop of Mohammad Amin Awan after breaking the locks and took away Rs140,000 cash, jewellry, 1200 grams of gold and 23,000 grams of silver worth Rs1.3 million.
