WASHINGTON, Oct 10: A US soldier involved in supporting strikes on Afghanistan was injured at an undisclosed location on Tuesday when he became trapped between two military vehicles, US Central Command said.

The soldier was flown to Incirlik, Turkey, for treatment and was in critical condition, the central command said.

“A US soldier was injured today (Tuesday) while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom,” Central Command said, referring to the Pentagon’s name for its campaign in Afghanistan.
