Three die, 14 hurt in accidents

JHANG, Oct 9: Three persons were killed while 14 others sustained injuries in different road accidents in Chiniot and Jhang during the last 24 hours.

A Faisalabad-bound wagon coming from Sargodha overturned in Chiniot on Monday. Abdul Qayyum, a youth and a Wapda line man of Dadan Khan village died instantly, while Imran Shaikh and Almas of Chiniot, Tanveer Malik, Haji Sharif, Mussarat, Abdul Aziz, Ashraf Nazir and Riaz, all from Faisalabad, Ismail of Khushab, Khalid Aminpur, Pervez Ahmad of Sargodha, Naik Ghulam Muhammad of Okara Cantt and Akram of Halian sustained injuries.

In another incident which took place near Packeywala, some 10km from here, on the Jhang-Sargodha Road, one Muhammad Din was run over by a wagon.
