PO shot dead, father injured by rivals
OKARA, Oct 9: A proclaimed offender was shot dead while his father sustained injuries over enmity here on Tuesday.
As per details, Fakhar, Iqbal and others, murdered wagon commuters Ghulam Murtaza and Ashiq Naeem near Mauza Bholan, Deepalpur, last year.
After the incident, Iqbal and Kakhar became enemies.
Iqbal, along with his accomplices, burst into Fakhar’s house and opened indiscriminate fire, killing him on the spot. His father Hassan Joiya sustained injuries and he was taken to a hospital.
CONDEMNED: Teachers of the Okara Government High School, 32/2-L on Tuesday condemned US strikes on Afghanistan.
This was stated in a press release signed by some 20 teachers including Muhammad Habibur Rahman, Muhammad Mushtaq, Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Zafar Iqbal and others.
