Sabotage bid foiled

By Our Correspondent

NOWSHERA, Oct 8: An apparent sabotage attempt was foiled on Sunday when about 43 US and UK made bombs were recovered from a brick kiln at Jallozai near Pabbi, Nowshera District.

The Pabbi police station has registered an FIR against unidentified persons. It is learnt that a brick kiln owner, Gul Nawaz informed the police that his kiln was not functional and when he visited it he found some bombs and land mines present inside.

The police forthwith informed the bomb disposal squad, which defused all the bombs. Local police claimed that bombs were of different models. They believed that somebody might have stored the bombs there for conducting any act of sabotage.
