Nawaz contacts workers

By Our Correspondent

MANSEHRA, Oct 7: Deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif has renewed contact with party workers, and hinted that he will return to the country soon and launch a movement for the restoration of democracy.

In his letter, written on Sept 27 from Jeddah, to Gul Nawaz Khan ( a copy of which was received by this correspondent) on his assuming the charge of district general secretary, PML, Mr Sharif lauded the party workers for their struggle for the restoration of democracy and added that people would soon hear news about a political change in the country and about his return.

Mr Sharif said in the letter:” No one can stand between me and my countrymen because with every breath I take I pray for their well-being.”

He said: “Your ( party workers’) struggle for safeguarding the interest of the country and restoration of democracy, after the coup, would be remembered by people for a long time.”

Mr Sharif urged the party workers to continue their  struggle for the implementation of Shariat in the country.
