Three wounded in attack

SUKKUR, Oct 6: Three persons including two army personnel were injured when eight armed men attacked them over a Karo-kari dispute in Qazi Bachal Bhayo the other day.

The army personnel Ghulam Akber Mahar and Muhammad Fazil Mahar who had come to village Andlani on leave were attacked by some armed men who fired at and injured them.

Later the unknown assailants raided the house of one Ghulam Mohammad Mahar, injured him seriously and fled firing in the air.

The police on information reached the site but by that time the accused had fled. All the three injured were admitted to hospital.

Police have registered case against eight persons including Jamal Din Mahar, Shahzado Mahar, Ghulam Nabi Mahar and Mohammad Saleh. No arrest was reported.
