NAWABSHAH, Oct 4: Thirty-nine bottles of Indian liquor confiscated during snap checking, were set on fire at Indus Rangers headquarters here on Thursday in the presence of Commandant Col Sajid.

Talking to newsmen, the rangers Commandant said our borders were very secure and no smuggled goods could enter the country.

He added four non-duty paid vehicles were also caught and sent to Karachi for further investigations.

HESCO CHIEF: Wapda is rapidly working on its scheduled programe to electrify 900 villages in the country including 635 villages of Sindh.

This was stated by Hesco Chairman Brig Mohammad Ali while talking to the Wapda district Nawabshah coordination committee at the Indus Rangers headquarter lawn the other day.

Brig Ali said so far electricity had been supplied to 310 villages.
