SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 3: Four members of a family were shot dead in Kirto village near Narang Mandi, some 70km away from here, on Wednesday.
The brother of Riaz was killed by Muhammad some years back. Muhammad was declared a proclaimed offender. On Wednesday morning, he came to see his relatives when Riaz, following an information, attacked his house along with nine accomplices.
The attackers opened indiscriminate fire killing Muhammad, his wife Hajran, daughter Hamida and daughter-in-law Gulzaran Bibi on the spot.
DIES ON ROAD: A man was killed and his son injured in a road accident on Bhekhi Road here on Wednesday.
Siddiq and his son, Imran, were going by a bicycle when a tractor-trolley hit them. Siddiq died on the spot, while Imran sustained serious injuries.
The injured was taken to hospital.—Correspondent
