RAWALPINDI, Oct 2: Two more international airlines have suspended their operations from Islamabad International Airport citing security reasons.
The two airlines which opted for suspension are Kuwait Airlines and China Xinjanj Airline (XO). British Airways had stopped operating from Islamabad for similar reasons.
Kuwait Airlines flew two flights a week from here -one each on Monday and Friday for Kuwait. XO flew once a week from here on Wednesdays for Urumchi in China.
XO, aviation sources said, flew over Afghanistan and the other route was very long.
