SIALKOT, Oct 1: Governor Muhammad Safdar has ordered a probe into the death of a Raw agent in the Sialkot district jail and sought a report from the district government in this regard.
Dilawar Ali had committed suicide by touching a live electricity wire in the district jail on Sunday.
On Monday, his body was handed over to the family after autopsy. He was buried in the graveyard of Shakargarh sector’s border village Ubiyaal Dogar amid tight security.
The sensitive agencies on Monday continued investigation about the suicide incident, keeping in view the alleged slackness of the authorities concerned.
Meanwhile, another Raw agent and accused of Sialkot bomb blasts, Shahbaz, has been shifted to an unknown place.
INDIAN FIRING: Indian shelling on Pakistani border villages in the Bajwat sector continued on Monday.
The Indian security forces continued intensified firing in Bajwat, Chaprar, Sucheetgarh, Harpal, Bajragarhi, Charwa, Jammu, Zafarwal and Shakargarh sectors, damaging several houses and paddy crop.
