HYDERABAD, May 1: The central committee, Jeay Sindh Mahaz (Zain Shah group), at a meeting held at Sann on Tuesday, expressed grave concern over the acute shortage of water in Sindh.
The meeting alleged that the Sindh government had given total control of Indus waters to Punjab.
Speaking on the occasion, the president of the JSM, Syed Zain Shah, said that the mineral resources, finances and water of Sindh had been “given to Punjab” and the Sindh government and its bureaucracy had miserably failed to protect the interests of Sindh province.
