LARKANA, April 30: An eight-year-old boy, Ghulam Abbas, and a 65-year-old man, Ghulam Ali, were killed while three others were seriously injured on Tuesday after a group of 10 armed men opened indiscriminate fire on the house of Ghulam Ali Kariyo in the Kariyo village, some 25 kilometres away from here.
Persons, injured in the attack, were identified as Ms Allah Rakhi, wife of Ghulam Ali, Ms Azizan and three-year-old Yaseen.
They were immediately removed to the Chandka Medical College Teaching Hospital.
The attack was said to have been the outcome of a matrimonial dispute.
The police said that the victims of the attack had migrated from the Kutcha area near Larkana to the village because of the dispute in a bid to avoid any untoward incident.
TRADER DIES: Abdul Ghafoor Brohi, president of the Sindh-Balochistan Rice Millers and Traders Association, Larkana taluka, died on Wednesday.
He had been suffering from a heart ailment since quite some time.
