KOHAT, April 30: Syed Qalb-i-Hassan, the ANP MPA who was expelled from the party for voting against the party decision in the senate elections, has accused the brother of a former MPA and provincial secretary-general of the party, Masood Khan, of selling tickets to three candidates in the last general election on payment of a huge amount.

Taking exception to a statement of former provincial secretary-general of the party, Aurangzeb Khan, that there was no place for turncoats in the ANP and that Qalb-i-Hassan betrayed the party by selling his vote in the senate elections, Mr Hassan through a press release issued on Tuesday alleged that Aurangzeb Khan’s brother had sold party tickets to three candidates for the provincial assembly elections and he could present witnesses to prove this allegation.

He said Masood Khan had sold the party tickets for Rs0.5 million.

He regretted that despite his repeated clarifications the party high command which had been made hostage by sinister elements refused to pay any heed. He challenged the party leaders that he was ready to prove his innocence in a mosque.
