AMSTERDAM, April 28: Global semiconductor sales growth slowed to 13 per cent year on year in March from 17.9 per cent in February as the industry was hit by oversupply and pricing pressure, industry associations said on Monday.

The US-based Semiconductor Industry Association, which had previously said it expected the global chip industry to grow by about 20 per cent, also scaled back its forecast, saying it now expected a “double-digit” percentage increase.—Reuters
