Test cricketer Ghazali passes away

KARACHI, April 26: Former Test cricketer Muhammad Ibrahim Ghazali died here Saturday after protracted illness. He was 79 and leaves behind a widow, one daughter and two sons to mourn his death. His burial will take place today.

Ghazali a right handed batsman and off-spin bowler played two Tests for Pakistan, making his debut against England at Trent Bridge in 1954. He finished his career with 28 runs and no wickets for 18 runs in Tests.

Soyem for the departed soul will be held at Sultan Masjid Defence Monday between Asar and Maghrib prayers. For Ladies arrangements has been made at 5-B/2, 21st Street off Khayban-e-Tauheed Phase-IV.—APP
