LAHORE, April 25: Three goals from Pakistan full-back Sohail Abbas helped Lesco win the Wapda inter-unit hockey championship title, defeating Fesco 4-3 at the National Hockey Stadium on Friday.

Fesco’s Abdur Razzaq scored the first in the 12th minute. Sohail restored parity a minute later through a penalty corner. Shafqat Ali put Lesco ahead in the 23rd minute. International Waseem Ahmad equalised in the 30th minute.

Sohail netted in the 45th and 50th minute to make it 4-2. Pakistan striker Mudassar Ali Khan reduced the margin for Fesco in the 56th minute.
