KARACHI, April 25: Three persons died in separate road traffic accidents in different parts of the city on Friday.
A young motorcyclist died after being sandwiched between a bus and a minibus at the Tin Hatti traffic signal.
Police said Khursheed Ahmed Siddiqui, 40, was waiting at the traffic signal behind a minibus of route (W-21) when a speeding bus of the ‘51’ route slammed him into the minibus.
The victim died on spot, and his body was taken to the Civil Hospital for autopsy.
In another accident, a young motorcyclist died when hit a crane parked on a roadside at Baloch Colony, in the limits of Zaman Town.
Police said Rizwan Ali, 26, riding a motorcycle (SDJ-5738) skidded and ran into the machine parked on the roadside.
The young man was a page-maker at the daily Express, police said.
In another road traffic accident a young man died in a hit and run accident in Liaquatabad.
Police said that Naseerullah, aged 26, died when an unknown vehicle knocked him down. His body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post mortem examination, police said.
