Unique handicrafts can be seen displayed along the junctions of post office and the Minthar Road towards west. The roads leading to Karachi, Lahore and other places in the outskirts of Sadiqabad, are also linked with this commercial point.
Stalls owner Muhammad Mohsin told this correspondent that being a potter by profession, he had set-up these stalls about two years ago. He said daily average sale earned him a respectable amount to meeting all the requirements.
Visitors from far-off places showed keen interest in different varieties of pots and handicrafts painted in pleasing colours, he said.
He maintained customers hailing from remote rural areas made a majority while people from urban areas were keen on purchasing utensils at slashed prices.
Proud of his innovation, the stall owner said the profession had transformed into an art reflecting modes of living in the past.
