KARACHI In view of the expected floods in Sindh, Pakistan Navy on Tuesday launched a search and rescue operation 'Madad' in Ghotki, Sukkur, Kashmore and the adjoining areas.

A command and control centre has been established in Sukkur to provide speedy assistance to affected people, says an ISPR (Navy) media release.

Diving teams along with 23 boats have been dispatched from Karachi and deployed in these areas to meet any eventuality and assist the local administrations in the relief efforts.
