DADU, April 18: A large number of people, including primary teachers, on Friday staged a demonstration outside the local press club to protest against the officials of education department.

Protesters accused the officials of the education department of having introduced a so-called “visa system,” charging Rs1,500 from every teacher.

They said that teachers were transferred to remote areas if they did not pay this amount.
