SHEIKHUPURA, April 18: A deputy superintendent of jail was suspended from services on the charge of trespassing on the house of an assistant superintendent jail under the influence on Friday.

Sources said deputy superintendent Waqar Abbas entered the house of assistant superintendent Mazhar Waheed to take possession of his official residence. An inquiry was held and the charges were proved correct.

It may be recalled that a drunk deputy superintendent Awais Butt was dismissed for trespassing on a woman warden’s house.

The superintendent said it was a departmental issue and refused to give details.
