SWABI, April 17: Five people, including a widow and her young daughter, were killed in separate incidents across the district during last 24 hours.

Lodging an FIR with the Kalu Khan police station one Farman, resident of Ganghudher, said his mother (widow) and sister had gone somewhere from their home but did not return which created doubts in their hearts that something had gone wrong, the police said.

They contacted relatives as to know about their whereabouts.

Later, he said their bodies were recovered from the fields and both of them brutally killed by some unidentified persons.

However, the police said that the widow had married with one Shamal Khan of Sheikh Jana about 11-days back, which had made their killing controversial and to unveil the reasons investigations continued and some of their relatives might be arrested for reaching to the facts.

In Shaghai, some unidentified persons also mysteriously killed one Taj Wali on Wednesday night when he was sleeping in his room. The father of the deceased told the police that his other son had informed him at mid-night that Taj Wali is lying dead in his room. He said he rushed to his room and later informed the police about the incident.

However, the police said the medical report would make clear the nature of his killing and they are eagerly waiting for that as most of the parts of his body were badly broken and different signs were on his face and neck were also seen.

In Topi, Saeed Bahadar killed a shopkeeper when he opened fire over him with a pistol in broad day light .

The deceased was on his way to his home. After the incident the murderer escaped safe and sound from the scene.

The cause of the incident was stated that they had exchanged hard words and abused each other, which led to the killing of the shopkeeper.

In the same area, one Mir Azam was killed near the Topi municipal committee on Wednesday evening.
