`Babar Awan took four crore in the name of judges`

LAHORE Fariha Afzal, a wife of Sheikh Afzal who was the main culprit in Haris Steel Mill case, accused  Federal Law Minister Babar Awan of taking rupees four crore in the name of judges.

While addressing a press conference in Lahore on Wednesday, Fariha said that Aitzaz Ahsan charged one and half crore rupees fee for the case and clarified that he would not appear in the court if Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry would hear the case.

She clarified that she had not blamed Ahsan.

Fariha claimed that NAB officials were asking for 25 crore rupees as a bribe for the bail. She expressed her full confidence on Tariq Khosa. — DawnNews
