Sardar Manmohan Singh, the leader of a 47-member contingent of Sikh community that arrived here from England for Punja Sahib pilgrimage, said this while talking to this correspondent here on Sunday.
Sardar Manmohan Singh said the main religious places of Sikh community were situated in Pakistan including Hassanabdal, Nankana Sahib, Dera Sahib, Lahore, and Sacha Soda, Sheikhupura.
He said they considered Pakistan as their holy land and its people as their brethren.
We always found the Government of Pakistan and the people friendly and cooperative.”
Chief Organiser Pakistan Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Sardar Sham Singh told this reporter that they considered Pakistan as their Makkah. He said Sikhs were never ill-disposed towards Pakistan.
