Musharraf, Karzai discuss ties

KABUL, April 9: President Pervez Musharraf and his Afghan counterpart Hamid Karzai discussed improving relations between their countries, the Afghan government said in a statement on Wednesday.

In an eight-minute telephone call on Monday evening, Mr Musharraf expressed his wishes for better ties between the two countries and close cooperation in the war against terrorism, it said.—AFP
