AS SAYLIYA CAMP (Qatar), April 4: The US military said on Friday a Marine colonel in Iraq had been relieved of his command.

A spokesman at Central Command in Qatar said in a brief statement that Colonel Joe Dowdy had been replaced but did not say why.—Reuters
