PESHAWAR, April 3: Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani has stressed the need for joint efforts to eliminate beggary, and rehabilitate drug addicts and the women in distress.
Presiding over a meeting on a German-aided project of Mera Ghar here on Thursday, he said the NGOs should help government to end the curse of beggary and other social evils, which were attracting more and more youth, he said, adding that the MMA government being aware of these potential threats to people wanted to banish them once for all.—Bureau
