MIRPURKHAS, April 3: A married woman was allegedly killed when she was forcibly given pesticide in Basheerabad, Kot Ghulam Mohammad Taluka, on Wednesday.

One Allah Ditta Jutt lodged an FIR with the police concerned that his sister, Ms Samina, 25, wife of Bisharat, was forcibly given pesticide which resulted in her death.

Abdul Majeed, Ms Rashida and Ms Fozia have been nominated in the FIR as accused.

MAN INJURED: A Darogha of irrigation department was injured in an armed attack when he stopped thieves from committing water theft at Dajero Mori, in the jurisdiction of Kot Ghulam Mohammad police on Tuesday night.

Registering an FIR with the police, Shah Bux Chandio stated that he found the accused Aleem Bhurgari, Alam Bhurgari along with two unknown men stealing water by tempering with the watercourse, while he was guarding the Shakh. He tried to stopped them, on which the accused attacked him with sticks and injured him.
