HYDERABAD, Oct 10: Black day was observed in the colleges of Sindh on Wednesday on the call of central action committee of Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) for the acceptance of its demands, claimed a press release of the association issued here.
The SPLA has been protesting against what it termed the obduracy shown by the Sindh government to its demands.

The association said the self-financing scheme should also be brought to an end and before initiating computer literacy programme the colleges should be equipped with required facilities.
It also demanded the removal of Sindh minister and secretary of education.
Next meeting of the action committee would be held on Friday.
