Pakistan set up Kabaddi gold-medal match against India

DHAKA Pakistan will take on holders India in the gold medal match of 11th South Asian Games Kaddadi event on Thursday after defeating Nepal 44-16 in the last league match at the Kabbadi Stadium here on Wednesday.

Pakistan, who lost to India in their league encounter 19-15 will be pitted against their arch-rivals for regional supremacy in the sport.

Pakistan finished second behind India after the five team league competition after victories against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

Pakistan team Wajid Ali, Nasir Ali, Abdul Khaliq, Abrar Hussain, Muhammad Arshad and Maqsood Ali. —APP
