LAHORE, March 28: Sattukatla SHO was suspended from service on Friday on the charges of registering a fake case against a man and keeping him in illegal detention.

Zamir Ahmad had filed a complaint with the Lahore city police chief against SHO Inspector Sabir Ali Bhutta.

He alleged that the inspector arrested his cousin Tariq and registered a fake case against him at the behest of his rivals. The police chief ordered an inquiry which found him guilty of the crime.
