THIS is apropos of the letter 'Class differences in Pakistan' (Jan 11). I do not agree with Nazir Tunio's proposition that President Zardari is being singled out because he is a Sindhi.
I think it is a very simplistic interpretation of a very complicated problem.
An in-depth and unbiased study of the political situation of Sindh, in general, and of Karachi, in particular, reveals that Asif Ali Zardari and his colleagues are rather selling out the political rights of Sindhis to the MQM just to prolong their rule.
Being a Muhajir myself, I do realise that Sindhis have become second rate citizens in Karachi.
Their children have no right to admission in precious institutions of Karachi.
All the ministries held by the MQM are the prohibited areas for Sindhis.
