Tax to be levied on car dealers

TIMERGARA, March  6: The district government of Lower Dir has decided in principle to bring all the motor bargain centres of the district in tax net and give them legal cover.

A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting held here on Wednesday, with District Nazim Alamzeb Khan in the chair.

The meeting was informed that at present over 50 bargain centres were functioning in the district, but only nine were registered. Thus, the remaining were doing their business illegally and causing a loss to the provincial kitty by not paying their registration fee.

It asked the authorities concerned to collect detailed data and information regarding the bargain centres in the district.
