KASUR, March 2: Over 400 kilogrammes of hashish and five kilogrammes of opium were recovered from a wagon near Gohar Gulab Singh village here on Sunday.

A Phool Nagar police party stopped a suspicious speeding wagon (No IDJ 7805) during patrol and recovered from it hashish and opium, worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.

Driver Ziaur Rahman was arrested while his three accomplices escaped when police were searching the wagon.
